Castor Maritime Q2 Profit, Revenue Rise; Stock Up

(RTTNews) – Castor Maritime Inc. (CTRM), a shipping company, on Monday reported higher profit for the second quarter of 2026, compared with the same quarter a year earlier, helped by higher revenue and a gain from equity method investments measured at fair value.

Net income attributable to common shareholders was $16.41 million or $0.31 per share, compared with $3.27 million or $0.10 per share a year earlier.

The improvement reflected a $23.12 million gain from equity method investments measured at fair value, compared with a $1.55 million gain in the prior-year quarter.

Excluding one-time items, adjusted income was $11.65 million compared with $2.02 million last year.

Operating income was $24.56 million, compared with an operating loss of $0.82 million a year earlier.

Total revenues increased to $25.57 million from $17.94 million. Vessel revenues rose to $14.90 million from $10.16 million, while revenue from services increased to $10.67 million from $7.78 million.

On the Nasdaq, Castor Maritime shares were up more than 5% at $2.5499.
